Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary loan is the process by which a library requests material from, or supplies material to, another library.  KCC students, faculty and staff can borrow books for free via interlibrary loan from any of the 77 member libraries in the SAGE Consortium.

To Request an Item from Another Library...

1. Find the item you'd like in the SageCat Library Catalog

2. If the item is available for interlibrary loan, there will be a link to the right labeled Place Hold.  Click on the Place Hold link.

3. To log into your library account, enter your KCC ID in the box labeled Library Card Number or Username.  Then enter your the last four numbers of your phone number in the box labeled PIN Number or Password.  Click Log in.

4. Select how you would like to be notified of the status of your hold (via phone, email, etc.).  Click Submit.
